“Awesome. Crap. Inspirational. Disrespectful. Crammed full of wit. Really a bit naff. Wonderful and charming. Looks like it was drawn by a 7 year old boy!”

Those are just some of the words that have been used to describe Quoteskine, a project I started simply because I love to draw. 

My name is Lee Crutchley, I’m a freelance designer and illustrator based in England. I started Quoteskine as a daily doodling project back in 2009 after I’d just returned to the UK from a year of travelling the world. Since then the project has been featured by a host of websites, blogs, and magazines.

In late 2010 the first Quoteskine book was published, it’s available in many book shops as well as my own: leecrutchley.co.uk/shop.
